The Liver Killers are on the Drakrub Apparel Radar

So, as you know, Drakrub Apparel has always been known to  keep our ear to the street so that we are always on the pulse of whats new and exciting…right? Well, metaphors aside we have something we know you will like.

The new Super Group coming out of New Jersey is The Liver Killers. Including long-time Drakrub supporter, Josh Prown, The Liver Killers have a great fresh sound that really rocks. Check out their myspace to hear the brand new demo.

As always, we’ll keep you updated on whats going on with these guys and other Drakrub acts. Coming up this month, we have a couple more acts that we’ll be bringing to you, a new super-secret partnership that is in the works, and updates on the Team.

Drakrub will be in Philly seeing Pigs in Flight

Hey all, if your in the Philadelphia are this Sunday (9/28), come out to the Trocadero Theatre for a good ole battle of the bands. We’ll be there supporting one of our bands: Pigs in Flight. Those of you who were at Rock for Food a while back will remember them. They always put on a great show and are big fans of Drakrub. Check below for show information and a map.

We’re in the process of filming a skate video that will be a free promo with the purchase of any shirt. Stay in touch for info on that and there will be a post about Campus Philly.

The Third Leg of the Mid-Atlantic Skate Series…This Saturday!

This Saturday (7/19), the third leg of the Mid-Atlantic Skate Series will be held in Charles County, MD. Drakrub Apparel will be there with our tent selling great Drakrub merchandise and supporting the community in the Mid-Atlantic Region. We will also be taking some great footy and will be putting up a video mere days after the event!

Remember, all the proceeds of the event go to the Mike Rogers: Grind for Life foundation. This organization helps families with the financial burden of battling cancer, educates the skateboarding community about cancer, and holds great events for sick children and healthy ones alike! A really great organization.

Josh Prown Working on a new Album for Summer 08

Drakrub Apparel Featured Artist: Josh Prown has been rumored to be working on a new studio album for Summer 08. We were able to crash one of the recording sessions to video tape a quick jam session with Josh and drummer Francis Valentino while they were laying down some tracks for the album.

We will keep you updated about the album release date, touring schedules, etc when information becomes available!
