Our blog is below, Enjoy.
Recently we were thinking…It’s a new year with new expectations for the country. Might as well change our website layout and our online store. Hope you like it. We’re in the process of editing the photos from our most recent photo shoot and we’re about to start filming our first movie once it gets warmer. Get excited.
Don’t forget to check out the new layout of the online store.

So, as you know, Drakrub Apparel has always been known to keep our ear to the street so that we are always on the pulse of whats new and exciting…right? Well, metaphors aside we have something we know you will like.
The new Super Group coming out of New Jersey is The Liver Killers. Including long-time Drakrub supporter, Josh Prown, The Liver Killers have a great fresh sound that really rocks. Check out their myspace to hear the brand new demo.
As always, we’ll keep you updated on whats going on with these guys and other Drakrub acts. Coming up this month, we have a couple more acts that we’ll be bringing to you, a new super-secret partnership that is in the works, and updates on the Team.
Stay Classy.

We’re in the process of filming a skate video that will be a free promo with the purchase of any shirt. Stay in touch for info on that and there will be a post about Campus Philly.
Hey all, it’s been a long time…too long if you ask us. We’ve been so busy keeping up with the different things that we are involved with that it’s been hard for us to make constant updates. That’s going to change soon though. So thanks for bearing with us and here’s what we’re up to:
Remember the last posts we had? They were about the Red Bull Soap Box Derby, which was held in Philadelphia, PA in the Manayunk District. Drakrub Apparel was fortunate enough to be sponsoring one of the soapbox racers!
The race was held on September 6 and it was a crazy/wet time. We were in the mist of a hurricane and it rained all day an most of the night. Because of that, we were unable to get pictures of the event, but everyone that made it out for the event (and we saw a couple shirts in the crowd) remembers how much fun it was.
For more information about the event hit up the Red Bull website. Here is our man, Pat Daugherty’s, Race Information.
Besides that, we have new concerts coming to you from all up and down the east coast, a new AM team, and we are in talks about possibly making a video! So keep in touch and keep staying fresh my friends.
–Joe
So we just found out that our driver in this weekend’s Red Bull Soap Box Derby will be interviewed on Good Morning Philadelphia the same day.
We are going to try and figure out how to record it and post it up on the site but worst comes to worst, keep updated with the website for pictures from the actual derby (there should be some interesting soap box designs).
Just so you don’t forget:

So awesome news! Drakrub Apparel is sponsoring our very own Pat Doc in the Red Bull Soap Box Derby, held on September 8 in Philadelphia, PA. With all the cameras trained on him for a couple minutes he’s going to be rocking some Drakrub Apparel for the world to see.
This awesome event has been growing for the past couple years and has recently grown to 4 national races. For more information on the race history check out the Red Bull Home Page
If you have a chance to check it out, it should be a lot of fun. Check below for information.

So Drakrub Apparel’s Rock for Food event went off without a hitch. There was some great music and a pretty decent turnout. I couldn’t get the count but there was a good amount of donated food that was brought to the Red Bank Food Bank with a donation check from Drakrub Apparel.
We are in talks about having a huge Rock for Food: Battle of the Bands around Thanksgiving that could be a lot of fun and can do a lot of good. Join the Mailing List to hear about the show when information comes out.
Last but not least, we’re looking into getting some more bands on the Featured Artist page and should have them up within the week
If for some reason you couldn’t make the show, check out the same stuff we were selling at the official online store.
We recently decided that not only are we going to be slashing the prices of all Drakrub Apparel merchandise to $10 at the Rock for Food Concert, but we will be donating 25% of all sales to the Red Bank Food Bank!
They have been a really great organization that has been serving the Monmouth County area for years and it’s time we all give back!
Update on the set list:
Check out the Rock for Food Myspace ( www.myspace.com/rockforfoodfestival ) for more information. We’ll also have pictures up a couple days after.
Just remember it starts at 6:30pm on August 16 at the Women’s Club in Red Bank, NJ. Admission is $2.00 or 2 cans of food with all proceeds going to the Red Bank Food Bank.
-Joe
P.S. Don’t forget that Back to the Banks will be held on August 16 (same day as Rock for Food) at 1pm so if you decide to hit that up, shoot down after and catch the concert.
P.P.S. Check out the Official Drakrub Store to get some Drakrub clothes before the event.
